Development of logical and non-standard thinking
The course of logic has been initiated by the EC since 2012 and is aimed at developing students’ logical thinking and spatial imagination, inducing their non-standard tasks solution. The course is intended to promote the diverse development of children, revealing and disclosing of their intellectual potential.
Since September 2016 three more exciting projects have been created for the students of the school: “The RESEARCHER”, ” The INVENTOR” and ” The SCIENTIST”.
The project was created for the development of gifted students of the fifth form. It implies the construction of a coherent picture of the universe of individual models, engaging the students in scientific activities by means of verbal, color-graphic and objective, expressive education.
The purpose of the invention studio lies in providing students of grades 6-7 with a variety of design skills and habits when constructing active objects, solving inventive tasks, developing technological competence, conducting experimental work and promoting their own projects.
This research project involves the high school students. Starting from the eighth grade, the students of the studio have been working on their own scientific droughts, carry out profound studies of the chosen subjects, defend their projects and prepare for the continuation of their scientific activity in selected higher education institutions.
