1. General Provisions
1.1. This Site https://www.eurocollegium.com/ is managed by PE “Educational Institution “European Collegium”, EDRPOU code 32302671, a legal entity registered and operating in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the School).
1.2. This Privacy Policy is mandatory for the School and Users of the School Site.
1.3. The School reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy at any time. The Privacy Policy, its new version and the relevant changes come into force from the moment of their publication on the School Site.
1.4. This Privacy Policy defines:
– Types of data collected;
– Procedure for processing personal data by the School;
– Purpose of using personal data;
– Procedure for using cookies;
– Interaction of the School with third parties regarding personal data;
– Methods of protecting personal data;
– Conditions of access to personal data;

1.5. Use of the Site by the User constitutes consent to this Privacy Policy and the terms of processing of the User’s personal data. In case of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the Site.
1.6. This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected on this Site.
1.7. The rights to the Site and all Materials posted on it belong to the School.
1.8. The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:
1.8.1. the owner and administrator of personal data is the legal entity Private Enterprise “Educational Institution “European Collegium” (EDRPOU code 32302671), location: Kyiv, 9 Sechenov St. (hereinafter referred to as the School);
1.8.2. consent of the subject of personal data is a voluntary expression of the will of an individual to grant permission to process his or her personal data in accordance with the formulated purpose of their processing, expressed in writing or in a form that allows to conclude that consent has been granted. The consent of the subject of personal data can be provided on the Site by placing a check mark on granting permission to process their personal data in accordance with the formulated purpose of their processing;
1.8.3. Site User (hereinafter referred to as the User) – a person who has access to the Site via the Internet, uses the Site. The User in this provision is also a subject of personal data, that is, an individual whose personal data is processed;
1.8.4. processing of personal data – any action or set of actions, such as collection, registration, accumulation, storage, adaptation, modification, updating, use and distribution (dissemination, sale, transfer), depersonalization, destruction of personal data, including using information (automated) systems;
1.8.5. personal data – information or a set of information about an individual who is identified or can be specifically identified;
1.8.6. School website (hereinafter referred to as the Site) – a set of web pages posted on the Internet, united by the domain https://www.eurocollegium.com/;
1.8.7. third party – any person, except for the subject of personal data, the owner or manager of personal data, to whom the owner or manager of personal data transfers personal data;
1.8.8. cookies – are simple text files that are sent from the Site to the Users’ electronic devices and stored by browsers;
1.8.9. IP address – a unique network address of a node in a computer network built using the IP protocol;
1.9. All other terms, the meaning of which is not defined by the Privacy Policy, are interpreted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine (in particular, the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”) and generally accepted concepts.
2. Legislation regulating the processing of personal data
2.1. The processing of personal data of Users is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”.
2.2. The processing of personal data of Users who are located in the EU or are EU citizens is regulated, in particular, by the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679.
3. Processing of personal data
3.1. In order to ensure proper access and use of the Site by Users, ordering services, and communication between Users on issues related to services, the School processes the personal data of Users.
3.2. The School processes personal data on the grounds specified by the Law
3.3. The School acts as the owner and manager of the Users’ Personal Data, depending on the circumstances under which such data was collected.
3.4. You can view the content of the Site without going through the registration procedure.
3.5. When the User uses the Site services, the School processes the User’s data, namely:
3.5.1. personal data provided directly by the User both when filling out registration forms, applications for admission to an educational institution, questionnaires, and in the process of using the services;
2.2.2. cookie files;
2.2.3. IP addresses;
2.2.4. parameters and settings of Internet browsers;
2.2.5. other data provided by the User voluntarily.
3.6. The School collects only those personal data (for example, the User’s first and last name, the User’s child’s first and last name, date of birth, gender, login and password, email address, contact phone number, etc.) that are knowingly and voluntarily provided by the User as a personal data subject for the purposes of using the Site’s services and properly providing services, which, in accordance with the requirements of the law, constitutes the consent of the personal data subject to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the purpose of their processing formulated in this Privacy Policy.
3.7. The School is limited to collecting the minimum amount of information necessary solely to fulfill the request of the personal data subject.
3.8. The School does not collect any information for the processing of which certain requirements are established by law, for example, information about racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or ideological beliefs, membership in political parties and trade unions, criminal convictions for committing a crime or convictions for criminal punishment, as well as data related to health, sex life, biometric or genetic data (in accordance with Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data”)
3.9. The School collects data on statistics of visits to the Site. The information may contain information about the connection, traffic, the User’s browser, as well as the date, time, duration of work on the Internet and stay on the Site.
3.10. The processing and storage of the provided personal data is carried out in data centers where the equipment that ensures the functioning of the Site services is located. The provided personal data is processed and may be stored in a personal data base or a separate table of the Site database.
3.11. The School undertakes to ensure the implementation of all available measures to protect the Users’ personal data, taking into account the provisions of the current legislation on the protection of personal data and the specifics of the School’s field of activity.
3.12. The use of personal data by the School’s employees is carried out only in accordance with their professional, official or labor duties. These employees are obliged not to allow the disclosure in any way of personal data that was entrusted to them or that became known in connection with the performance of professional, official or labor duties, except for cases provided for by law. Such an obligation is valid after the termination of their activities related to personal data, except for cases established by law.
3.13. The Site provides a function for switching to social network pages managed by third parties. By performing such login, the Users hereby agree to provide the School with shared access to personal data to the extent determined by the settings for access to personal data in the relevant social network. The School does not store or process data received from these services. Accordingly, if the User, for any reason, does not want these services to have access to his personal data, the User may, at his own discretion, log out of his account or profile and clear cookies (via his browser).
4. Purpose of use of personal data
4.1. The processing and use of the User’s personal data is limited to achieving a specific, predetermined and legitimate purpose of its functioning.
4.2. The User’s personal data may be used for:
4.2.1. tracking the preferences of Users in order to provide personalized information about the services of the School and/or companies specified in clause 7.2 of this Privacy Policy;
4.2.2. establishing feedback with the User, including sending messages, responding to requests regarding the use of the Site, providing educational and other services provided by the School and/or companies specified in clause 7.2 of this Privacy Policy, processing requests and applications from the User, etc.;
4.2.3. registering the User in the electronic queue for admission to the School or educational institutions specified in clause 7.2. of this Privacy Policy and further communication with the User regarding interviews and admission;
4.2.4. ensuring the exchange of information from the School Website via e-mail or on social networks;
4.2.5. providing the User with effective, including technical, support in the event of problems related to the use of the Website;
4.2.6. providing the User with his consent with information, newsletters and other information;
4.2.7. ensuring the User’s participation in projects of the School or its partners at the User’s request;
4.2.8. analyzing depersonalized information and traffic to improve the quality of the School Website;
4.2.9. ensuring the implementation of civil legal relations between the User and the School and/or companies specified in clause 7.2 of this Privacy Policy;
4.2.10. conducting market research and trend analysis to improve the services provided;
4.2.11. conducting a marketing campaign using telephone calls, e-mail or social networks.
4.3. The school does not determine/change the purpose of processing data entered into paper school accounting documents, does not determine/change their composition and processing procedures.4. Purpose of use of personal data

4.3. The school does not determine/change the purpose of processing data entered into paper school accounting documents, does not determine/change their composition and processing procedures.
5. Storage period of personal data
5.1. Personal data is stored for a period no longer than is necessary in accordance with the purpose of their processing, after which such personal data is subject to deletion.
5.2. The School has the right to store personal data for the period necessary to fulfill its obligations to Users regarding the provision of services, as well as to fulfill obligations stipulated by applicable law.
6. Use of cookies
6.1. A cookie is a text file or files containing a small amount of information that are sent to a web browser and stored on the User’s device. Such devices include a computer, mobile phone or other device with which the User visits the Site.
6.2. Cookies can be permanent (they are called persistent cookies) and stored on the computer until the User deletes them, or temporary (such cookies are called session cookies), that is, they are stored only until the browser is closed. In addition, cookies are divided into primary (they are installed directly by the visited Site) and third-party (installed by other Sites).
Important:
– when the User visits the Site again, the cookie data is updated;
– in most cases, the web browser by default allows automatic storage of cookies on the User’s device;
– disabling cookies may result in restricted access to published materials and/or impaired functioning of the Site’s services.
6.3. According to the classification of the International Chamber of Commerce, the School may use the following categories of cookies:
6.3.1. STRICTLY NECESSARY – required for the User to move around the web page and use certain services, for example, to access protected pages, register and authorize, and freely navigate the Site. Also, they remember the User’s previous actions when going to the previous page in the same session. Cookies of this category do not collect any personal information about the User. They are temporary and are deleted immediately after the browser is closed.
6.3.2. PERFORMANCE – used for anonymous collection of statistical information, analysis of the Site’s performance, quality of service provision. This data is stored on the User’s device between web browser sessions. Examples of such data may include the following metrics: time spent on the Site, most frequently visited pages, understanding which sections and services of the Site were most interesting to the User, how effective this or that advertising and/or marketing campaign is, etc. All information collected using performance cookies is intended for statistical and analytical purposes. Some cookie data may be provided to third parties who have permission from the web resource and solely for the purposes specified above.
6.3.3. FUNCTIONALITY – used to save settings or configurations that are stored on the User’s device between web browser sessions. Examples of such data may include the following metrics: User’s name, profile photo, information on comments left, language version of the Site, location, information on whether the User has been provided with any information or selected benefits before, as well as other Site settings. These cookies also allow Users to watch videos, participate in interactive activities (polls, votes) and interact with social networks. To make visiting the resource more convenient, these cookies remember the information provided by the User, increasing the efficiency of interaction with the Site. Some cookie data may be provided to third parties who have permission from the web resource and solely for the purposes specified above.
6.3.4. MARKETING (TARGETED ADVERTISING) – used to provide content that may be of interest to the User. This data is stored on the User’s device between web browser sessions. Examples of such data may include the following metrics: tracking recommended text, graphic, audio and video material to avoid repeated display, managing targeted advertising, evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, information about the User’s visits to other resources during transitions, as well as other Site settings. The Site may share this information with other parties, including media clients, advertisers, agencies and partners in related businesses in order for them to provide high-quality targeted advertising.
6.4. Major web browsers are configured to automatically accept cookies. To disable them, use the help function in your browser. Help can be called up through the menu or by pressing the F1 button.
Please note:
– the configuration of cookie settings for web browsers of mobile devices may differ;
– full operation of the Site is available only when using cookies;
– disabling cookies may lead to limited access to content and impaired functioning of the Site services.
6.5. If the User does not enable the use of cookies or intentionally deletes all cookies from his web browser, then upon further visiting the Site, the User will be repeatedly offered to enable and use cookies.
7. Interaction of the School with third parties regarding personal data
7.1. The School does not transfer personal data to third parties, except in cases where such transfer is required by law, at the request of the subject of personal data or in other cases set out in this Privacy Policy. Doda, realizing that personal information is valuable and an integral part of the personal non-property rights of any individual, takes all possible measures to protect the personal information of Users, voluntarily and knowingly transferred by the latter to the School.
7.2. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, the User agrees that all his data collected by the School through the Site, including personal data, may be transferred to legal entities using the European Collegium or Little Europe brand, namely: Private Educational Institution European Collegium LLC (EDRPOU code 43645260), ED HOLDING LLC (EDRPOU code 42929704), Preschool Educational Institution Little Europe LLC (EDRPOU code 39671043), as well as to their structural divisions, if this is necessary for the provision of services to the User by these companies, but solely to achieve the goal specified in clause 4.2. of this Privacy Policy. At the same time, the companies listed in this clause guarantee the protection of personal data at a level no lower than that guaranteed by the School.
7.3. For the proper performance of contractual obligations, in particular, regarding the improvement of the operation and maintenance of the Site, the School may also transfer Personal Data:
7.3.1. to affiliated companies of the School;
7.3.2. to partner companies of the School;
7.3.3. to counterparty companies of the School;
7.3.4. to third parties, in particular, to state authorities (in case of compliance with legal requirements).
7.4. When transferring Personal Data of Users to third parties, the School takes all available legal, organizational and technical measures to guarantee the protection of Personal Data.
7.5. The Site may contain links to other websites. When following a link to other websites, this Policy will not apply to such sites. In this regard, the School recommends that you review the Privacy and Personal Data Policy of each website before submitting any personal data that could identify you.
8. Protection of personal data
8.1. The School uses generally accepted standards of technological and operational protection of information and personal data from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. At the same time, the School cannot guarantee absolute protection from any threats arising outside the School’s regulation.
8.2. The School ensures the application of all relevant obligations to comply with Confidentiality, as well as technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful disclosure or processing of such information and data, their accidental loss, destruction or damage.
8.3. The School provides access to information and personal data only to authorized employees who have consented to ensuring the Confidentiality of such information and data in accordance with the School’s requirements.
8.4. The dissemination of personal data without the consent of the personal data subject or a person authorized by him is permitted in cases specified by law, and only (if necessary) in the interests of national security, economic well-being and human rights.
9. Conditions of access to personal data
9.1. The procedure for access to personal data of third parties is determined by the terms of the User’s consent provided to the personal data owner for the processing of this data, or in accordance with the requirements of the law.
9.2. The User has the right to receive any information about himself from any subject of relations related to personal data, provided that the surname, first name and patronymic, place of residence (place of stay) and details of the document certifying the individual submitting the request are indicated, unless otherwise established by law.
9.3. The User’s access to personal data is free of charge.
9.4. The term for examining the request for its satisfaction cannot exceed ten business days from the date of its receipt.
9.5. The User’s delay in accessing his personal data is not allowed. Postponement of access to personal data of third parties is allowed if the necessary data cannot be provided within thirty calendar days from the date of receipt of the request. In this case, the total term for resolving the issues raised in the request cannot exceed forty-five calendar days. The notification of the postponement is brought to the attention of the third party who submitted the request in writing with an explanation of the procedure for appealing such a decision.
9.6. Refusal of access to personal data is allowed if access to them is prohibited by law.
9.7. The decision to postpone or refuse access to personal data may be appealed to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or to the court.
10. Rights of the personal data subject
10.1. Users have the right to use the Site solely for the purpose of:
10.1.1. familiarizing themselves with materials on services provided by the School and partner companies;
10.1.2. submitting an application to the electronic queue for admission;
10.1.3. ordering services;
10.1.4. participating in School projects;
10.1.5. requesting services;
10.1.6. contacting the School with requests, comments, complaints and suggestions, which can be sent to the contact email [email protected], as well as receiving a response from the School.
10.2. Any use of the Site for any other purpose is considered illegal.
10.3. By transferring personal data of a minor and/or a minor to the School (in particular, by filling out an application for an electronic queue for admission, questionnaires), the User guarantees that he is the legal representative of such minor and/or a minor and provides consent to the processing, use and, if necessary, transfer to third parties of such data in cases specified in this Privacy Policy or applicable law.
10.4. The School informs Users of their rights as subjects of personal data, which are regulated by the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, namely:
10.4.1. to know about the sources of collection, location of their personal data, purpose of their processing, location or place of residence (stay) of the owner or manager of personal data or to give an appropriate instruction to obtain this information to persons authorized by him, except for cases established by law;
10.4.2. receive information on the conditions for providing access to personal data, in particular information about third parties to whom his personal data is transferred;
10.4.3. to access his personal data;
10.4.4. to receive no later than thirty calendar days from the date of receipt of the request, except in cases provided for by law, a response on whether his personal data are being processed, as well as to receive the content of such personal data;
10.4.5. to submit a reasoned request to the personal data controller objecting to the processing of his personal data;
10.4.6. to submit a reasoned request to change or destroy his personal data by any controller and processor of personal data, if these data are being processed illegally or are inaccurate;
10.4.7. to protect their personal data from unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, damage due to intentional concealment, failure to provide or untimely provision of such data, as well as to protect against the provision of information that is inaccurate or defamatory of the honor, dignity and business reputation of an individual;
10.4.8. to file complaints about the processing of their personal data with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or to the court;
10.4.9. to apply legal remedies in case of violation of the legislation on personal data protection;
10.4.10. to make reservations regarding the restriction of the right to process their personal data when providing consent;
10.4.11. to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
10.4.12. to know the mechanism of automatic processing of personal data;
10.4.13. to protect against an automated decision that has legal consequences for them.
10.5. To update, access, amend, block or delete their personal data, withdraw consent to the processing of personal data provided by the User to the School in accordance with this Privacy Policy, or in case of any comments, requests, claims or questions regarding the User’s personal data processed by the School, the User has the right to contact the School: by e-mail [email protected], by phone +38 044 2299720 or by sending a letter to the address: 03127, Kyiv, Sechenov Street, 9.
10.6. The authorized representative of the state authority for personal data protection is the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Address: 01008, Kyiv, Instytutska Street, 21/8.
10.7. Users are obliged to:
10.7.1. when using the Site, be guided by the provisions of the Policy and the provisions of the current applicable legislation;
10.7.2. use the Site exclusively for the purpose specified in clause 10.1. of the Privacy Policy;
10.7.3. without the permission of the School, do not use in any way the Materials posted on the Site for commercial or non-commercial purposes, do not parse or attempt to interfere with the source code of the Site;
10.7.4. do not use the Site for the purpose of sending any messages of a violent, offensive, disparaging nature or those that in any other way violate the right to honor, dignity and business reputation of the School or third parties, as well as unsolicited messages of a commercial nature (“spam”);
10.7.5. do not use software to interfere or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Site.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1. The intellectual property rights to the materials of the Site, as well as to the Site as a whole, belong to the School in full (or the right to use such materials has been previously duly granted to the School by third parties).
11.2. The School prohibits Users from commercial or non-commercial use of the materials in whole or in part in any way (including: reproduction, presentation, adaptation, modification, publication, transmission, distortion, integration into another Site, etc.). If it is necessary to use the materials, Users may contact the School with a corresponding request by sending it to the e-mail [email protected].
11.3. In the event of violation of intellectual property rights to the materials of the Site by Users or any third parties, the School has the right to take all available measures to protect the violated rights, including seeking protection of rights in court.
12. Liability
12.1. Failure by Users to comply with any provision of the Privacy Policy is a violation and entails liability established by the Privacy Policy and the legislation applicable to its regulation.
12.2. The School makes every effort to provide Users with safe, uninterrupted and correct access to the Site. In this case, the School is not responsible for interruptions in the operation of the Site, incompatibility of the Site with all types of Users’ devices, as well as the inability of Users to access the Site due to the inability to connect to the Internet. The School reserves the right to fully or partially restrict Users’ access to the Site.
12.3. The School is not liable to Users for any damages arising from the use of the Site. The School is also not liable to third parties for any actions of Users committed using the Site.
13. Change of Policy
13.1. This Privacy Policy may be amended and supplemented periodically and without prior notice to the User, including in the event of changes in legislative requirements.
13.2. In the event of significant changes to this Privacy Policy, the School will post a notice on the Site and indicate the date on which these changes will come into force. If the User does not refuse to accept them in writing within the specified period, this will mean that the User agrees with the relevant changes to the Policy.
